book is addressed to all people with diabetes, and to all the readers
who are living with the infection of this disease, and doctors will
benefit because it is simple information for patients and their
families, and to enable the physician to guide the proper guidance to
them. And
this book has come a conclusion to the experience lasted for a few
years to educate patients and their education, where the author
presented a thesis to obtain the Arab Board on the impact of health
education in improving knowledge, attitude and behavior for patients
with diabetes. And
has included five chapters of this book, he spoke first section on the
definition of diabetes and its complications and its history and the
various checks, laboratory, and the role of environment and genetics. The
second section he mentioned treatment methods, which include oral
pills, and insulin is made through genetic engineering or the normal
routes, and methods of injection and save it. And
Part III spoke on the digestion of food and sugary diet and overcome
the difficulties, and Sport diabetes, nutrition and diabetes patients
with various illnesses. Part
IV has cited the influence of diabetes on pregnant , the fetus,
children adolescents the elderly, life
expectancy, diabetic foot eye, also touched on the month of
Ramadan, surgical operations, and false beliefs about diabetes.The fifth section was dedicated to modern methods of health education for patients with diabetes and methods of self-care.
