Varicose Ulcer

What are varicose ulcer?
Occur
in people with diabetes, like other ulcer varicose veins resulting from
the expansion of veins (not arteries), and are usually in the leg and
not in foot, and noted the presence of varicose veins, it be
accompanied by swelling of the leg and change the color of the skin to
brown.
When do the incidence of foot ulcers that resulting from ischemia increase?
- lack of control in diabetes for a long time

of a previous ulcer

the presence of ischemia through weak pulse in the foot

the presence of deformities in the foot and fingers

biopsies of a pain, or pain at rest

Use of socks and shoes is appropriate for
Treatment of foot ulcers resulting from ischemia:
- helping to remove the causes sores to occur such as shoes, socks, narrow

away from the violent sport

wounds should be cleaned carefully

Do not remove the skin (unlike neural sores)

Use of antibiotics when there is inflammation of the consulting physician

Be aware that signs of inflammation such as congestion, heat and redness may be present

comfort to the feet to reduce their vulnerability to bruising

the physician will assess the situation and determine the degree of
artery stenosis using the sensor pulse Doppler, or X-arterial angiogram

The situation may need to alter or expand the arteries
